Sessions at Home

In-home sessions are our favourite. It’s where everyone is most at ease and we can capture memories closer to the reality of the family’s daily life. Plus, it’s super comfortable for doing multiple outfit changes.

Shirt

The shirt is a versatile staple. It can be paired with a top and a denim piece, like shorts or pants. And it allows for many shots of the baby bump showing on a very comfortable mom-to-be.

More skin

At home, it’s also valid to be daring. We can take more intimate photos in the couple’s bedroom, wearing lingerie and bodysuits.

It’s nice to style with a knit cardigan or robes. But more skin is better.

Different Pieces

You know that unique piece you have in your wardrobe? That cropped top with transparency, shine or embroidery? Or that blazer that says a lot about you?

We can take some more relaxed and even fun photos. This type of photo tends to reveal the power of the woman you are.

Dresses

Romantic dresses look beautiful for photos of the expectant mother alone, or for ones that gather more family members in the living room.

In the mountains

If you chose the mountains for your photos, it looks very beautiful to wear a thicker coat with a tight-fitting top underneath, very warm pants (the lined kind), or wear two layers if the temperatures are very low (which is most common to happen).

Compositions

Or a tight-fitting midi dress with snow boots. The idea is to take photos with the coat open, so that your belly is visible in the pictures.

It also looks beautiful to style with a scarf. A poncho can be an option for an outfit change and keep you warm.

Urban landscape

If you chose a park or the city streets, dresses of the most varied styles look beautiful. From the lightest fabrics to the tightest-fitting ones.

Wear according to your style. Styling with combat boots, ankle boots, or sneakers.

Denim jacket

A versatile staple for this look on cool days is a denim jacket.

It looks very cool and keeps you warm in Calgary’s crazy weather.

For them

For men, there isn’t much of a secret. The good old white T-shirt paired with jeans or khakis. For colder days, a neutral-coloured sweater and/or a jacket.
